Z06 Titanium Exhaust
I have been watching Craiglist for listing of the titanium exhaust. I was having no luck for months. I searched for Corvette in the cars and the Z06 exhaust was listed. I was not in the correct group. I may not have seen it otherwise. The ad was only out there for one hour.
Success!!! Even better only 7 miles away and $140. I have been polishing the one on the right. They look in great condition.

I missed one last week by a few hours. 150 just a few miles from the house. Glad to hear someone had better luck than me.

You got a great deal at $140. Keep up with the polishing and the exhaust will look great.

When I first got my Z06 many years ago I was ignorant and cut up and junked my Ti exhaust to get it off the car and install my Borla Stingers. Didn't realize at the time they were worth anything. The car was only 5 years old with 30,000 miles on it...

Nice find! I got a sweet deal on mine too for 100. It's great when a seller doesn't know what they have. Like my pristine OEM mag wheels. I got the whole set for 400!

Throwing away that exhaust is like all of the people that threw away muscle car air cleaners in the 80's. Some of those air cleaners are almost a grand or more now. You just never know with these things.

I don't understand why it's so desired.
Sure it's light weight...but it's still just Factory exhaust lol and it's so quite. Meh, I wasnt impressed.

I won't get it installed until the end of the week.
I would like to hear a little more growl. Not too much. I have another car for that.

This was stock muffler that was removed. Did the previous owner paint them? The stainless mufflers felt a lot heavier
The new mufflers are just a little louder and deeper. I think it is a great upgrade.

The original factory exhaust looks to be pre 2001 MY.
And the early 1997-2000 factory exhaust didn't have factory polished tips . The tips look to be aftermarket installed.

How did you remove and install? If a shop did it----how much for labor?
And the black paint is factory applied paint. My mufflers had 99 percent of the paint still on them because of the low mileage of the C5.

The black mufflers i think are stock but the tips dont look stock. they are quad oval tips (polished or "Natural" finish on older ones)
Great score on the Ti mufflers BTW! keep an eye out for the police... you stole them!
