Hello, I have a situation where I was gone on a business trip and I think a "friend" of mine started and revved my corvette while I was gone.
The situation is that I was having issues with my oil system (long story), and starting the engine would have spewed oil out and might have run the engine and turbo without enough oil depending on how long he had the engine running.
He didn't drive it anywhere, so no mileage, but probably started the car for about 30 seconds and revved the engine.
Is there any way to determine when the last time the car was started? I have HP Tuners also.
Yikes. Bad situation. Hope it all works out and glad he confessed. There was another thread a while back where a guy left the keys with a friend while deployed and when he got back the thing hardly ran. Bad day for sure
Car is rear-mount turbo, and some road debris hit the rear oil scavenge pump and broke it last weekend, so anytime you start the car, it spews oil everywhere.
This is what the car looked like when I got home. I only had the car parked in front rather than the garage because I had to have it towed home, and I didn't start the engine once after I had it towed. He told me "it was already like that". Bullcrap, how stupid does he think I am.
Now I have to wonder if this is the first time he's tried this
