I was part of a few forums about a decade ago, at the time I had a '99 C5 FRC. I ended up selling it due to personal situations and swore I would find another one, a better one, someday. FF to now and I found just that. It’s a 2002, yellow Z06 with 26k miles and was completely stock, up to and including the 1-4 skip.

How long is the Corvette season up there? Here in Michigan we get to drive the fun cars April through (sometimes) mid-November before the snow / salt trucks come out and ruin all of the fun.
Well….depends if you’re a purest (like myself) or just don’t care. Once the snow melts and the roads are cleaned you can safely start driving reliably from May – 1st week of August. Then monsoon seasons starts and rain rain rain, so you end up picking your days. I’m still driving mine but not much more than once a week at this point. Frost is right around the corner, when that happens she will get put up for the winter.
I’ve seen some people drive them year round. An act which would send me into outer space seeing how uptight I get just hitting a puddle or god forbid those unsuspecting rain clouds that open up on the way home.
