My first bracket win
On Saturday, I took my second annual trip to Maple Grove Raceway to meet up with two of my uncles and do some bracket racing. One has a '69 Camaro and the other has a '70 Nova. We made up 3 of the 13 entrants in the Trophy Class (aka beginners). I advanced to the finals against the Nova. He broke out by more than I did, giving me my first ever class trophy with margin of victory of 0.017 seconds. Great experience to share with family members.

MGR is liked on my FB page and I saw your pic come up in my feed. I thought it was great to see someone having fun with their Vette and bracket racing it. My Vette sits- I am afraid it may get dirty! LoL!
I was bit by the bracket racing bug in the 90's and did it for about 10 years. It is a fun experience and awesome to have your son along. He will remember that day for a looooong time!
Take your son to the NHRA nats at the Grove next month. When he sees the Nitro cars run he will be a drag race fan forever. He will also want more mods done to the Vette because it will then be too sloooooow!
