Living in Vancouver, I drive in the rain ALOT. I can relate to what you are saying. I found that sometimes it leaks and sometimes it doesn't leak. I carry a large towel just in case. For the most part it is OK but if it leaks on the passenger side like yours - I need to fix it right away or my "passenger", you know who she is, makes my life hell I don't really have a fix to contribute, but will send a PM as well to VetteMan Jack for some pointers. Thanks in advance!
The water was actually coming from the top above window, it looked like.I could see it. but when I got out and checked every thing looked good.I opened up top. reseated it.IT rained last night when I checked this morning no sign of water?I guess Ill have to monitor it thanks for timely replies you guys are the best.
My 01 vert (kept garaged til I bought it in Feb with under 36k miles) had a slight leak coming into passenger footwell behind seat just above and rearward from the Passenger Door seam.... I think it would be called near the "B pillar".
I found that the heavy hinged Tonneau cover was sitting a little low, therefore the bottom of the convertible top didn't form a good seal with the body there.
So I rotated the threaded rubber bumper counterclockwise til the Tonneau cover latched flush with the surrounding body.
I think a flush fitting tonneau cover creates a better seal with the convertible top's weather stripping.
It's rained a little since then so I'm pretty sure I solved my water intrusion...
Hope this helps you or someone else....
Good luck.
