Those are worth quite a bit of money even if upside down...as long as you don't hurt them and ruin the value of them.

The magnesium wheels are very nice. Plasti-Dipping them shouldn't hurt anything and if you don't like the look, you can always just peel it off.

I love the look of them. I bought them used of eBay and they had lots of chips on them. I read on ls1 tech that it cost some where around 300 to refinish each of them. I figured plastic dip would hold me over to either I get my bonus from the army in March or until I get my rn license in my. Maybe I should look around and see if I can get it done right for cheaper.

Love the look of the Mag wheels!! If you dip because they have imperfections, I would probably do the gloss blk until you can have them refinished. Good thing about dip is that it is removable & will not damage the wheel at all.

I've been thinking about dipping my Mag wheels either flat or gloss black. But at the end of the day, I just really like the Mag wheels. You don't see them very often and they go well with my Mag red vert with a tan top. If they have some imperfections, I understand you wanting to change them. I would probably dip them until you can get them refinished. Someone on here had theirs powder-coated. I'd look into that if possible. The paint might be easier to have done, but, as I've found, it's not as durable.

I always wanted the mag wheels polished. I always have something on my car that I like better and never had the opportunity to do it.

Thanks. It took a long time to get it back running again . Haven't smiled so much in years than I have driving down the highway with the roof off. Hopefully I can keep this car forever.
