cold only whistle
Does the LS1 have a cold-running / warm-up program that might make a whistle - especially noticeable with a K&N intake?
I have noticed a whistling on acceleration (rpm - pitch dependent) that happens until the motor is warmed up. I have tightened up all the usual culprits, but it still happens.
I also notice a sort of cold-running sound (rasp) in my Grand Prix GTP when I installed a K&N filter. I chalked this up to some sort of warm-up / cold-running program because it goes away after only a few minutes.
