Anyone able to get a car fax for me? I just bought the car Friday and never did a car fax. I wasn't looking to buy a car but a deal came up I couldn't pass on. Had to make the deal quick a line was forming for the car. If you can email it to kcorkins@charter.net Thanks Kirt.
The wheels came the color of the center caps, they've been painted or coated one or the other.
I'm not sure what good a carfax would do you after a purchase, but they are available at carfax.com for 19.95 if they have some information you would like to see. I'd prefer to go to a Chevy dealer and ask them to run a gmvis report to see what recalls had been done and what service history they have on the car.
And I do wish you luck.
I got the Carfax for mine when I bought it and the report my local dealer gave me was identical, but had a little more detail. Carfax said seat repair, dealer report said seat switch replaced...
I'm not looking for anything in particular. I'm just curious about the history of the car. I'm not trying to go after the dealer on anything. Car has 161K on it and bought it pretty cheap so I expect a few problems. As of right now having a problem with the pressure control solenoid in the trans. Think it might be a wiring issue just need to find a schematic of what wires control it. I read where there is a connection under the battery that tends to have problems. I will remove the battery Thursday or Friday and have a look.

Be sure to hook your battery cables to a booster before removing the battery or you'll loose your settings; seat memory, radio, etc..
I haven't driven the car enough to get anything set to memory. I drove it home then put it in the barn . Guess I'll have to spend the $20 and order it myself.
