Default Window valet not working

When I use my window valet, the windows on my 99 'vert only close half way then the horn sounds and they go back down. I have tried the valet with both doors open and no obstructions.... same thing. I have paired my fob pressing both "lock" and "unlock" for several seconds. Help!!!

Have you tried to recalibrate the windows? Also I believe there is a setting for strength.

tomikem, did you simply remove & re-install the physical device, or did you go through the complete programming procedure?

I had the exact same problem you are speaking of and cured it by simply re-programing the window valet......and it has been fine ever since.

Ok so while I'm having a brain fart while installing and programming my WV, how do I enter 0's 9's and 7's on the DIC for my PIN? The buttons are only numbered 1 to 5.....

I believe you only enter the last 4 numbers and they should be in a 1-4 format.

I posted the booklet for you a few days ago, It is in there.
