Looking at replacing shocks - C5 Coupe has just a little over 50k miles so my thought is it's due.
Run flats have been replaced and we are talking stock ride height - its not been dropped.
Its a non Z51 suspension - these stock shocks seem a little too soft for my liking - I am on somewhat of a budget - am I looking strictly at Bilstein HD's or Sport?
Look at C6 Z-51 or Z06 shocks. A nice upgrade to a stock suspension and very reasonable in price. You can pick a lightly used set, if you so desire, from the C6 forum or ebay. Even new, I believe they're less expensive than most aftermarket shocks. I went with the C6 Z-51 shocks and am quite happy with them.

I also went with Z-51 sway bars at the same time. These, along with the shocks and C5 Zo6 springs, made a huge improvement in handling over the base suspension. Good luck with your upgrades!
