Ordering, if I wanted to sell my 97 Fairway Green c5 with 16,000 miles what would be a good asking price? Tried to download pictures but cannot access at this time.

Totally stock? I'm thinking around 18k off the top of my head. I personally think it's worth more. But I mean what it will sell for.

Yes totally stock and that's what I'm looking for realistic prices.

Low mile, stock cars usually do a little better with those looking for their first Vette that aren't "gearheads" and appreciate or understand all the mods.

Unfortunately at the end of the season prices do take a bit of a drop as folks look to unload to avoid storage and such.

$18 is probably a fair spring, summer #, maybe $16 with fall coming.

Good Luck!

I would start with $18K. You may have to accept a bit less but that price does give you some negotiating room and you never know, someone may pay the $18K. With only 16K miles on it and if it is in great shape, someone should snap it up.

List that bitch for $25k, I see them all the time.

But realistically you should see at least $16k.

Assuming that it's a 1-2 owner vehicle with a clean CarFax, I would agree that $18k is a reasonable starting point. The mileage is a plus, however, as a previous poster noted this time of the year in Ohio you will probably have to settle for less ($16k). The color is rare and it may attract less interest, however, that may also be the trigger for the purchase.
Good luck!

I have found NADA to be accurate in my area. The '97 is a car worth $10.8k and the low mileage adds about $4k so you have a $15k car on a good day. I agree it would be worth less with mods. Buyers will bring up issues about old tires and fluids if they know these cars. I can't disagree with the list it high proposal but $15k is the number if you want to sell it. Sure hope you didn't buy it as an investment.

I was just curious, have no plans to sell it unless I get that Stingray bug and even if that happens I would still keep it. Something about the c5 looks that you just cannot get over.

Accident free and northern climate I would say 17K should be no problem. Wild card is the color. You may find someone that just has to have it. Good luck.

Those're Y2K wheels, which aren't stock, but if that's the only thing changed; the low miles and color would command higher prices.

For someone that really, really loved the color and has been looking for an 'as-new' Fairway Green - - -you could probably push $20 and listen to a good offer . . .I think jack's pretty close.
