Default C5 Mild to Wild?

Does anyone know of something similar to a mild to wild switch for the C5z? I want to keep the stock Ti exhaust and mufflers, so I'm hoping to find something like a wirelessly controlled valve to open up somewhere in the exhaust and let the straight sound through. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything, forgive me if its been covered.

QTP or DMH low profile. I have had my DMH's for 6 years now. 4 year unlimited warranty.

These are DMH's in the video.

No. I live in Missouri though. Are you in California? I'd just keep them closed for inspection

I'm in PA, thank god. I'm not sure of the laws here but anywhere will be better than California. How much did yours run you, and where'd you buy the kit?

I want to say 300 somethin. I bought them directly from Dave at DMH but I think some vendors here sell them? Might have some deals going on here....

I really like the idea of using cutouts. I like it quiet when traveling a distance and don't like the drone, and I like it loud when I want to have fun and listen to a V8 vs a radio. I have heard that these actually reduce horsepower as the exhaust is virtually unrestricted with NO back pressure. is this true? Thanks guys.

There's been a lot of debate about that. Basically, I think on a stock car you'll loose a few hp, but with mods, especially forced induction, its been shown to add 5-10 HP on a dyno. But then you run into the whole debate about how accurate is a dyno, and can you chalk up a few HP to mods or to margin of error? I decided a few HP doesn't really matter, if you want the sound go for it.

I went to DMH around the same time. They have been great. They are also about 1/2 the price of any c5 catback. So I have my quiet time with the Z06 Ti on, and can be wide open with the cutouts.

I had manual cutouts on my previous car (cammed LS1 in a 1970 coupe) and gained 3mph in the 1/4 mile by opening them up. To me that proves a few hp gained.
