Have an 04 vert and was going to order a set of L5 splash guards from JW Motoring. Hit the "contact us" button and find out you can't call in an order - you must order from online. Anyone used jw motoring before - comments? Thoughts on L5 splash guards?? Pictures seem to indicate they are like Z06 guards. Haven't decided yet whether to leave them black (later to add side skirts) or have them painted - car is Torch Red.

I've ordered from them before and never had a problem. I'm not a fan of not being able to speak with someone when I order parts, but with JW I got just what I needed in a timely manner.

I'll explain this decision to remove phone service. I run this business by myself. I am the only one you talk to when dealing with JWM. I do a lot of custom painting, modifying of parts, shipping/inventory, customer service, and I also go to grad school in my free time.
I ran a trial of phone service last year and it didn't work for me. I didn't have time to get things done in a timely manner. Online communication just works better for my business. I understand some aren't comfortable with this and will not order. I've been doing this for 6 years. IMO you won't find better service than what I provide. Many will agree, some won't.
Back on the topic, I personally like splash guards black. Matte black looks the best to me. Gloss is fine too. Body color blends in too much. We all have different tastes though.
The guards do take a while for L5 to make and ship. Usually around 2-2.5 weeks.
Feel free to contact me direct with any questions.
I got my splashguards from JWM. Very happy with the purchase.
However, be careful when mounting the front ones (if you get fronts). The tips are brittle, and I cracked one of mine. I'm contemplating replacing them with carbon fiber ones next spring.
When you mount the front ones, get the two screws just started. Then, press the tip to the fender and hold it in place for 20 seconds or so, so the 3M tape can adhere/grab. Then, finish tightening the two screws. If you tighten the screws first, and then try to press the tip up to the fender, it will probably crack like mine did..

Didn't notice many comments on the red-highlighted part of your question about JW Motoring. Let me weigh in.
My opinion expressed below is based on many purchases I have made from JW Motoring plus my conversations with many Corvette owners here in North Texas.
Jhonathan owns his own business and runs it like a pro. He offers great prices and provides swift, accurate service both before and after the sale. He communicates promptly whenever there is a fulfillment issue (i.e. when a vendor can't supply the product for a couple of weeks). He will also go out of his way (i.e. after hours and on Sundays and holidays) to answer your questions or help you solve installation problems (e.g. installing the ACA HD headlights) - by email and/or by phone if needed.
He is a Corvette owner/enthusiast and, in my experience, treats his customers as friends.
Thanks to all. I have placed the order for a set of front splash guards. I will get the rear ones at some point in the near future, followed by a set of side skirts.
Jhonathan,
Will the side skirts you have for the '04 vert work with these splash guards?

I have L5 Splash Guards, front and rear, on my 04 and like them very much.Form and fit is very good. This is my thard year with them and they still new.
I left mine black. They contrast nicely with Magnetic Red 2 and since they are made with black resin do not show stone chips as a painted Splash Guard would.

I will ask L5 if they've ever known anyone to install both. From looking at the pics it looks like it will work. I do not know of anyone that actually installed both though.

OK so splash guards arrive late yesterday. 5 wks - not 2 1/2 but important thing is they are here One is missing pre-installed 3M tape but I can handle that.
Will be in the garage this morning for install - wish me luck Will attempt to post some shots once they are on. Tried a dry fit last nite and looks like at least the one side I laid up against her seemed like it was going to fit well.
May well order the rear ones soon and then will begin the search for side skirts that will work with these - any input or thoughts on the side skirts would be appreciated.

Ok they are on. A piece of cake. Fit and form are great. That settles any question in my mind on fit and form of L5 goodies Thanks Jhonathan for your help getting them here. Pics to follow
I got my side skirts from C7 Carbon. I went with those because they had the splash guard attached in the rear, for the front of the rear wheel well. You can do a search on here about installing them. They weren't bad. Have to drill some holes and then rivet them in place. I love how they look!!
I had to trim out a smallish piece of the front splash guards to get them to fit right. It wasn't too bad, with a dremel. I removed the front splash guards before installing the side skirts. Then, with the side skirts installed, I held the splash guards in place, or at least close to, and guestimated with a sharpie what part would need to be trimmed. Then, cut with a dremel inside of the line and fine tuned it from there. The part I had to cut was mainly on the bottom of the splash guard. The hardest part was working up the courage to cut them. After that, it was an hour or two of work..
I don't think JamesZ06 is running front splash guards.
