[Z06] Brake Booster & Idle Issues
1. Under heavy, high speed braking (100+ mph, on track), pedal pressure seems to increase in order to stop car as though booster vacuum is being depleted.
2. Motor won't hold idle and wants to stall. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. Motor has been tuned/programmed multiple times and problem persists.
As background info, prior motor was 427 c.i., LS7 C5R aluminum race block. Brakes are (& have been) Mov'it (Porsche/Brembo) 6-piston monoblock fronts, 4-piston monoblock rears w/ Wilwood brake bias valve installed on rear brake lines.
Have heard that vacuum may be compromised w/ certain performance cam profiles, but this cam is milder than the one in the prior 427 c.i. incarnation.
Has anyone experienced this/these problems or can shed any light on solutions?
Thanks for any insights.
