Hi folks - I'm new to the forum and in the market for my first Vette, a C5 Z06 in particular. I've found a low mile 2003 Z06 in white. AFAIK from research and my C5 buddies, white was not an option in 2003 for Z06. I ran the VIN and it checks out as a Z06. I have not seen the car in person yet. Was white a custom order option? Is there something specific I should inspect and/or ask about the color? Carfax and Autocheck show clean records. Can someone perhaps pull a build sheet for it?
speedway white z06 was only available in 2001. There were only 352 built in that color. If it's a 2003 Z06, and its white, it's not from the factory and it was painted after being purchased.

Good luck with your search
Thanks for the quick reply. Unless they wrote the wrong VIN in the ad, this does check out as a 03 Z06 when I decode the VIN. Is a re-spray a red flag, even if the car reports show no issues?
It is local and I plan to test drive it soon, but I'm doing homework first.
IF the price is right, grab it.... What was the original color? Bet it was black lol..... I too have been kicking around wrapping my car... Looking at flat black, or White..... Keep us posted.... and POST PICS when you go see it.
