Awful squeaking from dashboard
Hey all. My c5 has had been making a very steady high pitched squeak from the dash and it sounds just like styrofoam. I haven't been able to narrow down the culprit but its coming from the drivers side and when I push hard on the plastic/leather surrounds it quiets it. the sound is there all the way from idle to WOT and its driving me insane!! Ill see about posting a video. any ideas?

top. I usually push on the gauge cluster housing and the interior thermostat cover (the little slotted square). good idea, I'll try tightening her up tonight. do you know where those three screws are and how to find them?

Right under the top edge of the instrument cluster, maybe 1/2" back. Just run your fingers along the edge under where the cluster and dahs come together.
Oh, and they're Torx-head unless somebody changed them out for some reason.
