Oh I'm not in denial. If I hit the Powerball tonight I may well try a Ferrari out in Italy or the Autobahn in nearby Germany. But even then, a Corvette will always be around for me, no matter where the engine sits, or how it's powered.
As far as on our Hwy's my '12 got me up to speed passing two semi's 50-120 in a flash. Had anything gone wrong in a split second I wouldn't be here to post.

That's why I like the Pantera. Not a small high revving Italian motor but a well cammed bullet proof American V8 muscle engine with a bullet proof GT40 Lemans winning transaxle. I like my C5 too, they are just different cars but both are fun as hell to drive. The only Italian car you will see at the dragstrip and road course, unless someome did hit the lottery.
Just having some fun with this post, like you. Have a great weekend and keep it on the road.

Looks better than the current C7 to me.
I think it's great if they bring out a mid engine version. It expands the range and will hopefully contribute to the longevity of the Vette.
