Default 1998 Needs New Seats

Located in Cleveland, OH. I need to replace the lousy leather furnished in my 1998. Does anyone know of a good shop that can do quality work in the general Cleveland, OH area?

Please advise and thanks for your time.

If you don't mind traveling to the Detroit area, check out the offerings of Vette Essentials. They offer top quality leather, excellent craftsmanship and great customer service.

Did you have these seats installed in your car? What impact was there on the functionality of the power seats? That is, did it operate the same way? I have been told that many after market seats destroy the functionality of power seats. Who did you have actually do the installation and at what cost? I am on the West Coast. it is not practical to have Vette Essentials do the installation.

Thanks so much for your input.

The OP was asking about replacement leather for his original seats. Jack recommended Vette Essentials for their replacement leathers along with the installation of those leathers..I don't think the OP was looking to replace the seats with another brand.

Do it yourself.. I bought new seat foam and leather from Leather Seats.com took me only a few hrs and saved a ton of $$.. When people look at my car they always ask where I had the seats done and are amazed when I say I did it my self. There are plenty of online videos that show you how to do it step by step.

Just a small suggestion here, even if you purchase new covers and do them yourself or have someone else do it, add additional firm foam to the side bolsters which makes for a more snug fit when in the seat.
