Which setup is louder??

What's up guys. I want to add Borla Stingers to my setup right now.. but I'm curious how loud it would be. I rode in my buddies car yesterday so I have a worthy comparison. He drives a C6 & I drive a C5Z.

Which is louder?

His:
LS2 C6: CAI / Longtubes / cam / catless Xpipe / borla stingers

Mine (theoretically after the stingers):
LS6 C5Z: CAI / Longtubes / catless Xpipe / borla stingers

the cars are essentially the same - - so, there should be no distinction in sound.

Maybe a slight nod to the LS6 . . .

Depending on the size cam the c6 will have a more throaty loping sound but as for loud winding out gears...about the same.

I'm kind of in the same boat in regard to headers. I have the Borla system now but not sure if I want to go that loud or not.

I have longtubes and a catless x-pipe. I had Corsa Sport exhaust on the back and it got much much louder when I did a cam. I swapped back to the ti's to tone it down some. I'd have to say his will be louder just from the cam. That was my experience.

Ok cool. He for some reason mentioned mine would be louder but it didn't make sense to me . hmmm

Nice! General consensus is that they will sound similar as far as loudness it seems
