Did you watch the same video I did? I saw a c5z lose /gain no ground on the first run, a bunch of heat soaking repeats with a kid who can't shift; not to mention bogged the **** out of those rolls. What was he in? 3rd? Then a c5z gets worked once the air was cold and he hit gears right. Hell he even missed one and didn't get caught. You guys are up there on your horses pretty good. There's tons of youtube stock cobras getting vettes. Sure there are loses, but to act like its some sort of turd is laughable at best. I've beaten faster cars in my coupe; but out driving them doesn't mean their cars don't run.

there were 28,388 C5 Z06's made compared to 19,440 Cobras the Z06 stickered about $15k more and both low mile/clean cars are around $24k today you get more car for your money with the Z06, yeah the Cobra technically is more exclusive but a $1500 99' 6 Cylinder stang is 2 badges and a set of wheels away from looking just like one...

Drove my buddies 2003 modded cobra. Yawn... Just doesn't feel like a sports car. Im not talking about build quality or materials, just the driving experience.. no comparison... keep all Mustangs compared to 4th and 5th gen camaros and Challengers for pete's sake.. enough comparing to a sports car.... these threads are a joke. I know a 98 civic that runs low 10's.. ITS STILL A CIVIC!!!!! anyway back to the story, raced him and couple other cobras.. pullied, headers, gears intake.. my Z at time was just Longtubes, Vararam and a RPM 4.10 rear. Rolls from 20-30 mph.. don't know hp I had or they had but all I can say is I never lost a race and NONE of them were close. I base this on my 4.10's. Hell I came within a car length of my buddies intake, headers C6Z tuned and he can shift. Pulled on me like crazy after 100 mph though on a private highway.
