It only does it once when you turn the key on. After that it displays whatever gauge or readout you have it set to with the buttons. You can't set it to scroll "Corvette by Chevrolet". But, you can turn the key off and back on over and over.

The only time I have seen the scrolling is when I have turned the key to ACC without actually starting the car; that's what I do when I want to check codes without the engine running.
It doesn't scroll at all if I just jump in and start the car.
