I a downpour last weekend there were drips of water coming in where the roof meets the driver's window. I remember reading somewhere that there are adjustments that can be made to the fit of the window and the roof, but I can't recall where to find this information. If any of you know how to do this or where to find the instructions, advice would be most appreciated.

Hi, Punch up Convertible top care, adjustments and tips
from "GENERACER" ON 10/1/2013. follow the instructions, they worked well for me.
Found it. Thank you, that's what I was looking for.
You're welcome! Good to hear I finally helped someone instead of the other way around. Just contributing that meager bit of information makes a person feel a little more commited. Thank you
If it was just a few drips after a down pour you might try a fine coat of dielectric grease around the rubber weather stripping before you start doing a lot of adjusting. GM sells some high $$$ stuff for that purpose but I find that dielectric grease does a great job. Good luck!

It was nothing until it turned into a downpour, and then it was a busy drip -- about one large drop per second. Fortunately it was over in 5 minutes or so. When the rain slowed down to a normal pace, there was no more drip. So yes, I'll try the easy way first if you think that's a way out of adjusting the roof.
The grease restores the ply-ability if the weatherstripping is becoming brittle or hard and swells it slightly. I've started to use it mostly for air noise based on recommendations from others on the CF. It does not fix major problems but does fix the little problems.

I've always used a silicone lubricant on all of the weatherstripping on my cars. It helps in freezing weather to prevent the doors and trunk from freezing shut. My convertible also leaks on the rare occassion in hard rain and I am sure that the silicone lubricant helps and is similar to the dielectic grease. I have found that if it is dripping, I pull over (important ) roll down the windows and unlatch the roof, open it a few inches and latch it closed again. It usually works.
