2 months ago we started a hood wax test--we had a 2002 red hood in excellent condition--original paint and like new--we washed/clayed the hood--divided by tape into 2 sides--first applied zaino pro 2 polish other side we used optimum spray wax-had at least 10 people as which side looked the best--everyone agreed NO diff. in either side-the hood has been in las vegas weather since aug 11th--lots of sun and 100 deg plus heat--some rain--today we took a hose to the hood-both sides still beading the same and looking the same--this spray wax makes me a believer--I now wax my car in 15 minutes and it looks great! I would think any spray wax would give same results-
I went to a car show last summer. There was an'01 coupe the same color as my '01 convert. The owner told me he only used Zaino products. I used Adams. Both cars looked exactly the same. Same shine, gloss and depth. No one could tell the difference.

Oh boy, you are going to upset the Zainys! They are not going to believe it! You just destroyed their belief that a day of applying products every weekend is necessary. You just found out what I learn many years ago about Zaino. Other products work as well and better and are cheaper!
To do a real test, perform it on black. EVERY imperfection, swirl mark and hologram can be seen on black and you will see that after a day or two, the holograms re-appear even with Zaino. Holograms are difficult to remove and prevent for us black vehicle owners who have a mirror finish. I found and use the only product that I found that out performs every wax or polish, no more holograms and doesn't require every weekend to apply and maintain it.
I am a spray wax fan..ever since I seen neighbours kid wax his DD red Cobalt weeks ago (with very little effort) and it still looks great. I tried some on my black Corvette and was VERY impressed. Fast, with very little effort and it lasts a long time. Fantastic stuff.
MY POINT TO THIS--SPRAY WAX AND LITTLE EFFORT DOES AS GOOD AS ANY WAX/POLISH ON THE MARKET--WAY TO MUCH HYPE AND ADVERTISING IS BS_BS_BS-on all wax/polish products--not me anymore--Spray ir baby!!!
I am a ZAINO believer. While I could say that anyone who doesn't believe in Zaino is a lost soul, I will just leave that up to the man upstairs on judgment day.
I've been a detailer for 55 years, sprays and waxes... as many know I am very sick and spent lots of time in the hospital and have really been knocked down... I haven't waxed my car in 18 months since my surgery.. and it looks amazing.. My Son lives in New England and has no time to wax... I turned him on to Zaino... he waxes once a year and his car looks amazing..
the biggest difference I see with the input found here between the sprayers and the Zainoizers is that one bottle of Zaino cost 15 dollars and can wax a corvette 9 times, so one bottle can last nine years.. I see the spray waxes bragging about buying another gallon , or I have to buy more ... the Chadwick stuff might be nice, and I'm not putting the product down.. but for 60 dollars a gallon and every time it rains these guys are applying more leaves me very skeptical about its protection and longevity. Every one is always saying I have to buy another gallon.
I never have to wash my car, just spray off with a hose, no soap, and then blow dry the car with a blow dryer..
18 months and the paint still looks wet and deep and beads up in the rain... if I thought that I was getting the same deal... longer lasting product for less money that is 99.9 % optically clear without any Carnauba, I would use it and endorse it... I don't want to spend 60 dollars on a spray wax every other month. and have to apply it every week. I don't care what anyone uses.. if a spray worked as well as Zaino and lasted as long and was as inexpensive I would use it..IM retired living on a fixed income.. I owe Sal Zaino nothing, I endorse his products because they are the best bang for the buck that my 55 years of experience have given me. Its obvious that the guys who use Zaino here on this forum have very nice cars.. so if Zaino and sprays are about the same... the effort with Zaino and the cost of Zaino is much much less... so why work harder, more often, and pay a lot more money for the same outcome..
