Key fob stopped working
As stated earlier - juggled the cars around this morning and drove the FRC to work. Get there (after fiddling with climate controls all the way) and try to lock the car with the fob - nothing. Supposedly this is a new fob that the dealer got from the stealer when I bought the car in August - could its battery already be shot?
I'm just chuckling to myself - I'm new to this "two car owner" game and wondering how many of you find "annoyances" every time you fire up after a 2-3 week park...

Try a new battery. What year is your car since the early FOBs had some cold solder joint issues?
Also, does anything else on the FOB work? If other functions do it could be the door module itself.
I store my car for months on end and never have issues. But I do live a charmed life

Try holding down the lock and unlock button at the same time until the horn honks. You may be out of sync between the car and the fob. If so, this will sync them back up. It will not allow an UNprogrammed fob to sync with your car, just your previously programmed fob will sync using this procedure.

Did you sync the fob to the car. There is a Fob training routine that you can access through the DIC. Try that.
