C5 wheel question
anyone know if the inside of painted oem wheels are painted or clear coated? I'm having a hard time getting stains from brake dust off. I tried ironx. The only thing working is sos pads, but am afraid to scrub too hard!

Surprised myself yesterday when washing my C5, the brake dust stains on the interior barrels of the wheels that resisted all previous attempts to clean came off after spraying with Awesome citrus cleaner. The stuff you can buy at the dollar store. Spray, let sit, wipe, a little scrubbing with a brush for the stubborn areas. First time I tried that, am pleased with the results.
