After reading this, who else wants to kick the crap out of Peter Max? Thankfully none of these cars were significant, but nonetheless could have been someone's pride and joy. But to let them go to ruin and to even consider painting them in psychodelic colors...oh man. If you aren't a car person (which the article said he isn't), then stick to other mediums for art, or at least use a different/less sought after model. What a shame they had this kind of life.

Sucks that all those cars were neglected for so long. Would have been better if they were just sold off and put in the hands of owners that would have cared for them.
I remember the story about those three or four years ago and wondered if the hurricane in NYC had filled the dungeon storage facility with saltwater- evidently they were at least that smart.

I stopped by vintage automotive restorations yesterday to check on my car that they have been screwing around with for two years and saw 5 of the cars from the collection, the 53, 54 and 55 were stripped down, and the other two were sitting (66 and a c3), they didn't look too bad after cleaning them up. Hopefully these guys can get their act together and finish these cars.
