Default stating the obvious (tires)

I just replaced my original 10-year old runflats (with plenty of tread left on them, dear things) with new Hankooks. As you can imagine, the ride is much smoother and quieter. For the first time I can hear the engine at 50+mph, rather than have the tire noise overwhelm it.

It makes me even sadder to know that I'm putting her away for the winter in 2 weeks. Can't we skip winter this year?

Good move on the switch to the Hankooks. Winter is not so bad as long as it is not real severe with excessive amounts of snow/ice.

Thanks for posting. Was wondering how it turned out. I'm on my second set of the Goodyears and will replace them in the spring. Also leaning towards Hankooks now based on your experience and several other recommendations here. Good to know they work well on yellow.
