Default 2001 C5 build

Well i have decided to build the car i have , a 2001 Base model .

The work is being done at Next Episode Garage in Dothan Al
The tuning will be done by Derek at Browning tuning once the install is complete

It will be a twin turbo 408 .

That's a great start , I envy your project. I'm not quite there yet. Are you running a auto or manual trans, the reason I asked is that now your going to be making more serious HP, are you going to be doing any upgrades to your drive train (clutch,rear-end,etc.) ? Good luck !!

I am installing a Monster LT1-R Clutch now . Gonna stick with the stock transmission and rear diff until they let go. Then i will be going with a RPM transmission and diff.

Not to many pic's right now . Just a couple of a torn down car and a few of some parts that have arrived . We will order the engine next week . We are relocating the battery to the rear of the car and the cpu and fuse panel to under the dash on the passengers side.

Fuel system will be upgraded to a return system with Deatsch Works 95lb injectors.

I am going to the shop tonight after work and will try to get pic's of everything that will be used on the car . That we have already.

I was told by Scoggins Dickey to get what I want as far as HP even the stock iron block would be the weak point in the build. So we upgraded to the LSX Block. This engine will be built to handle 25psi of boost.

Looking for 1000rwhp. I have been told this setup is capable of more. I will be running pump 93 octane. If E85 was more available in my area I would run that. My tuner says we could get more out of it on E85 and still be just as safe as less on 93.
