I too, am from Mass (Spfld) and will drive mine as long as there's no snow on the ground. Winter storage=move Vette from front of garage to rear.
Think spring!
I don't really put mine away, I try to drive it as much as I can unless there is salt on the roads.
I am hopeful too that we will not get any snow. I worked on my snowblower and changed the belts and relocated the pulleys so it does not throw the belts. It is a tractor mount 48" blower, and it really chews through the snow. It will throw it clear over the roof of my garage. Now that it is working right I am hopeful that it has scared off the snow for at least a year or two.
Don't know how you guys go months without driving your Vettes.
Never done it before. -- This is my first year as a Vette owner. It may be the last year that I store it away, but there's this little problem of owning 4 cars and having only a 2 car garage. I'd love to have a garage where I can try out mods during the winter, but alas I don't have the infrastructure.
Woke up this morning at 4am. It was in the 60's. Took a drive to Tucson for a car show. By the afternoon it was in the 80's. Even got a sunburn. This is the time of year I get mine back out more often. Sorry you have to deal with the white stuff, but I love this time of year.
Got up early and took mine to autocross. Doing the same thing again in 6 hours. They actually shut down some stuff for Summer here, never winter Arizona best state.

Up about 0530 here for Corvettes and Coffee at Corvette Performance in Scottsdale Saturday - - in the 60's warming to upper 80's . . .cloudy with a chance of rain and 70's today . . back into the 80s by end of week.
All the snowbirds are arriving from the Midwest . . .roads are crowded, freeways are slower and restaurants are packed at 5pm ! I guess it beats shoveling snow.
Snowing here, now... my baby is at the doctor getting the harmonic balancer replaced and addressing a very nasty power steering fluid hemorrhage. Glad it's going to warm up this week so I can get her home... @#$%ing winter!!!

I lived in Mesa (Red Mountain Ranch) for about 15 years and worked several places including the Scottsdale airpark. I can't believe how stupid I was to move back to Illinois and snow. Every year about this time it really rubs it in. At least we still visit quite often since my parents home is there (Apache Junction).
Don't worry. It won't snow this year. I finally bought a snow blower.
Not one flake.
Guaranteed.
Go buy summer tires.
If that turns out to be true, maybe we should all chip in, and get you another one next year!!
FWIW, I live in the "snow belt", along the shore of Lake Ontario, and although it was a little cold the last few days, and snow flurries were predicted for yesterday, nothing happened yet. In all reality, it's still a week or two early, for snow here.
