Long time Corvette Forum reader. Finally after ten years i pulled the trigger and got me a 2003 zo6 with 70k. Paid $14700 at the auction could not pass the deal --clean title--.I needed a toy after my wife made me sell my Superchargerd 98 mustang cobra. Wife was not happy when I told her. ^^who cares^^ She needed some work so i fixed her up, Gave her a nice cam set up from Synergy Motorsports with supporting mods, ported the heads and got them milled for compression and did all the work at my shop with a help from a friend. She made 435whp/400-torque--drove her for 1 month and the clutch gave up and she's back on the rack again. I am installing c6 zo6 clutch and decided to send the Transmission to RPM to get beefed up and new 390 gears. Been busy with work that,s why took a little time to post. ENJOY

That's a really good deal. I hope you know that the c6 Z06 clutch is freaking heavy. heavier than stock. I went with a stock c7 twin disc from monster. it has stock pedal feel with 650hp holding capacity. it weighs the same as stock. do yourself and your ears a favor and get a partition. TRUST ME. it makes a difference.

Don't waste your time or money on a LS7 clutch. Check out one of our single discs or the LT1-S.

Congrats on the Silver C5Z! As a fellow C5Z owner, I can tell you that you will get tons of enjoyment from this car. I've had mine for over 8 years now and the excitement remains
I also went with a C6Z clutch on my car. I am happy with it. It's a little heavier than the stock C5Z clutch but not by much. RPM Transmission is a good choice, I have one as well. Unfortunately, the T-56 transmission in these cars is not the greatest and they go out early. Mine was replaced at a mere 50K miles. I am hoping the RPM version will do better.

My car lost a fourth gear synchro key at 21k I'm just buttoning everything back up in the garage after that job
