As many of you know, the Tigershark products have been on Back
Order for more than two years. We are happy to announce that the
wait is now over and we are ready to take orders.
For ordering information, Please follow the link below
This is great news! While I already have one, during the "outage", I had my worries in case someone rammed into the front of my car in a parking lot or something.
My Tigershark ranks pretty much at the top of all the mods on my car.
I'll never understand why that chin spoiler is $400 bucks. It's not just you guys it's that price everywhere. To put things into perspective, the chin spoiler is a lump of plastic. A $400 dollar purchase at best buy will get you a nice piece of technology. What's the deal with that?

You obviously have never manufactured a part before.
The cost of the CAD alone is over $8,000
The cost of the molds are over $6,000 each
It takes over 11 man hours to make 1 unit (what's the cost of that in payroll)
Are you aware of the 2-1/2 year legal battle that took place to bring
these parts back to market. How much did that cost? I don't know, but
I guarantee it was High 5 figures for sure...
You're right, I don't manufacture things, but I am a numbers man. Lets throw some around, shall we?
Cad $10,000.00 (higher than your quote)
Molds $10,000.00 (higher than your quote)
11 man hours @ $50/hr $550.00 (these guys make $100k a year? really?)
Legal battle $99,999.00 (maxed it out)
Materials $1,000
Total $121,549.00
Sale Price $1,150.00
Assume 100% margin (ridiculous) $575.00
edit: whoops forgot overhead - toss in another 12 units.
Units to break even: 212
Edit: whoops forgot overhead - toss in another 12, but while we're at it, lets just round up to 300 units just to be safe.
How many units have you sold?

How many units have you sold?
47 in 7 years -
How many business do you think are going to lay out 300 units before
they see a profit?
Oh yeah, and your number is X 5 because that cost is per piece (minus
the legal bill)
and since your a numbers guy and not a rules following guy, read the
forum rules on interfering in a sales thread, or perhaps you would like
it if I came to your place of work and interfered with your employment.
Thanks Chipper. Not to bad. Pretty nice looking actually. The more you look at it and visualize it on the car the better it looks. I believe you're right there are quite a few similarities. Is it a fiberglass or lighter quality plastic of sorts?
Well I'll have to digest it for a while not to mention budget for it and see. Probably a couple Gs by the time the smoke clears.
Guess you just hang your old hood up or is there a market for the C5 hoods? Thank you and gooay broham.
From: Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed.

another option is to cut a regular 4-tip style muffler. in this case it was my corsa pace car mufflers:
Here's how they look on a normal C5 rear fascia; not bad at all.
Here's how they turned out with the TS:
again, not a bad turnout for a $50 hack job...beats paying $1000+ for a new set of pipes to fit.
I do agree with you though that the TS rear is amazing.
as for the tail lights, I refused to give up my modded halos so I came up with my own backup light version:
I have since moved on to a slightly different (larger) reverse LED style due to these ones constantly burning out, but its an effective way of keeping the tail lights I wanted.
Chip, sorry for the thread hijack but great job of you bringing these parts back to market. Can you elaborate on the specifics of the legal battles that you referred to?
Not really - It was Starcrafts battle - I know it was over the design and
rights... Did not have anything to do with us
