I'm about to do the same. I just have to top off tank add a can of sea foam and put some Irish Spring soap and dryer sheets thru out car. Plus add some air to tires. I'm hope to get a couple more rides in before the snow and then salt on roads. If it's your first winter storage it will seem like a longer than normal winter. Hope you store car were you can atleast see it and /or work on the car.
Yeah I can work on car. Just did the same topped it off then some stay bill. Lots of dryer sheets two damp rids and 40psi in the tires. Just need to get a battery maintainer this week. Also very cool to see another western ny guy.

Spiral gray is such a nice color.
Won't be long before I put mine away for the winter too. Going out in just a few minutes and taking her for a short cruise while the weather is still nice.
I have a Battery Tender Plus and have been happy. When I replaced my battery I bought a Sears Diehard Platinum duel post battery. I use the second set of post for permanent connector for battery tender I just plug in and all set . I don't care for alligator clip connectors. There is a lot of good cruise nights in our area , Also a nice corvette show at West Herr Chevy on Transit Road in Williamsville and Salvatores on Transit road in Depew both I think are put on by area corvette clubs. I'm not a member but they open them to corvette owners. Both are a good time.

I want to try and make a couple shows next year I just always seem to forget about them. Hopefully next year we can meet up at one of the shows. Also I agree never liked the alligator clips never worked well for the snowmobiles time to get those out and ready now.
Looking good but I just can't imagine putting something like that in winter storage.
Some of yall should move out west. Its so many ex-New Yorkers in Los Angeles, CA its not funny. U should feel right at home. Natives Californians have been leaving for the past 20 years. They (WE) go to NV, AZ, TX, Oregon and Washington.
To put it politely professionals with education and experience should have no problem finding a job.
LA Times: We don't have enough people with experience & education and it might show down the economy
Checking out from Las Vegas where its partly cloudy and maybe 65 degrees. Just beautiful football weather (UNLV has a football team )
In February there is a there is a car show swap meet at the Hamburg fairgrounds that club sells a sheet with almost all the shows in the area it's like 20 pages long . Buffalo ,Rochester ,Dunkirk ,Wilson ,I mean all over the area I buy mine then mark down in calendar on smart phone for the ones I want to be reminded about. It's going to be a long winter!
How great it is to live in So Cal, where the weather is so beautiful all year long. I can't imagine putting my corvette away for the winter. I feel for your fellas.
Even in Orchard Park N.Y. there has to be some days in the winter that it isn't snowing/raining etc... Drive the dang car and enjoy it even in the winter! Life is to short my friend!
From one Spiral Gray brother to another, as a former Chicagoan, I know the pain of storing my Vette for the winter, however I only had to do it one year because I moved to Sarasota in 2005.
Your car looks great so enjoy going out to the garage and staring at it over the winter. I know I used to do that!
For me, the top-down driving season is really just starting for me, plus I have two shows coming up in November that I'm prepping a full detail for. I actually drive less during the summer because it's so hot. I also plan to purchase a GoPro around the holidays so I plan to post a nice SW Florida scenic drive on the Forum to help break up the winter for my northern Corvette brothers and sisters.
Today was the last day till Spring. Had a lovely drive around Milwaukee and the Kettle Morane, such a beautiful place!
Always sad putting baby away for the winter.......
Ah, Orchard Park. I was a Bills season ticket holder in the late '70s/early '80s. Even dated a Jill once. Great town, Buffalo, but no point driving a C5 through the winter there.
I just put my 04 TRZ away for the winter. When I bring it out in the springtime it feels almost like a new car! I have visited family in the Carolina's and Florida, nice places but WNY will always be my home.
