Default lug nut question

Hello, I have a 2004 c5 coupe.
I just received a set of tsw Interlagos and the vendor did not send the set of lug nuts that should have been included in the package.

1. Will my factory lug nuts work?
2. Are the 04 oem lug nuts locking and do I need a key to remove?

Thanks,
Sorry if this has been covered before

No you do not need a key for OEM lug nuts.....

You might just try mocking up one of your new wheels and see if the OEM lugs will fit or try taking one of them to whomever you intend on using to have the tires mounted and or switching out the wheels for you and see what they say......

Unless you already have locking lugs on the car (perhaps aftermarket locking lugs), then there should be no problem removing the lugs with either a socket or a lug wrench (19mm). As for whether the factory lugs will work - I would do as mentioned above - test one out before you even have the tires mounted to see if they fit. If not, you'll either have to wait for the ones you should have got to arrive or you can buy a set from the tire shop.

The factory lug nuts have a 60 degree taper. Is that what you wheels require? If so, the OEM lugs can probably be used until the vendor sends you the lug nut set that was apparently part of the sale.

If the wheels need different lug nuts, then it might be advisable to hold off on the install until such time as the correct lug nuts arrive.
