Default Need help exhaust system

Installing new LS-3 engine in my 2000 auto C-5.Would like your opinion on a exhaust system. Want a system not to loud but a good sound.Would like to keep the price under 1400 with X pipe.R

Was looking at the Borla Systems Stinger S-type good price $900 at Maryland Speed Forum vender. Good choice loud but still can here the tunes under 2500 rpm's? Yes or No????

Do you mean LS3?

Anyway are you also asking about Axle back mufflers or the complete system LT's, Hiflow Cats, Xpipe and Mufflers?

Any set of LT's with cats and xpipe will be fine and give similar results make sure you go with 1 3/4" minimum, shop around to meet your budget (check the For Sale section)

As far as axle back a set of C5 Z06 Titanium mufflers will produce excellent sound and results - I ran these at 700+ RWHP for a long time on my Vette!

Thanks,Matt

I love my Borla S Type II. No drone. Just added Kook Headers to them a couple weeks ago and is like music to my ears. Can be loud when want to and quiet when cruising.
