Wish I could say that I was, but I was 7 when my car was released and the banks wouldn't give me a loan because my credit was bad for skipping a few payments on my Fisher price playhouse.

Cut throat bankers! I had a similar situation with my Lego Castle!
One original owner here. Quicksilver Z06. Ran 12.43 at 114.75 first time to the track in Ennis, Tx. Almost traded it in on an '02 electron blue one, but didn't. Now, 80k+ miles later... Been driving it a lot more lately. Mostly highway miles on mine. Done multiple Dallas-Denver-Kentucky-FL road trips. Took it to Tennesee this year for a business trip instead of flying. RPM trans rebuild back in '08 was the best thing ever for it.
Well I am the third owner of my 2001 but I do have all of the original paperwork, videos, etc that came with the car. 43k miles and 14 years later, she sits in the garage under a cover at the moment.
I'm 23 and have an 01 black Z06. The C5 generation came out when I was 6 years old and I fell in love with it immediately. I finally was able to purchase one earlier this year with 5k miles on it. Every time I turn it on I feel like a kid again !

I was 23 when I bought mine, just had graduated college a year prior, had first real job (software eng) blew up my 87 Turbo Buick, blew up my 88 GMC truck, needed wheels, bought a Z06. Still have the Buick too.
I still have mine. I drive it every day and it has 151,000 miles on it. Still drives great, good oil pressure, and still looks good. These are very reliable cars.
