Techron at COSCO
Techron on sale for $12.99 for six 16 oz bottles. Enough to treat 16 gallons of fuel per 16 oz bottle. If this is a repost --please over look it.

It would be nice to know if it's the real deal and will help with the fuel gauge problems or if it's a waste of money no matter how cheap it is.

I have read in several places that it is not the same and does not work just fine for cleaning the contacts in the fuel sender.

I believe that Chevron has pulled a fast one. This is the old "Pro Guard" re badged as TECHRON. Looking at the bottle, there is no part nbr for comparison with the other Techron products such as the "New techron 65740". The good news is that it works but not quite as good. And is half the advertised price on Amazon.

If the product works, then that is a good price. Too bad there is no Costco around here.

What about Berryman's B12 Chemtool? Does anybody use that and how is it different from Techron? It works wonders in my bikes and lawnmowers and outboards to keep carbs clean if stored for extended times without use. And that stuff is only about $2.89/can compared to Seafoam which is $9.99/can and it works much better.

At least two diffrent products
There is Fuel INJECTOR cleaner
and then there is Fuel SYSTEM cleaner.
Fuel SYSTEM cleaner is multipurpose and contains alcohol to absorb any water in the gas. It contains SOME injector cleaner.
