so here i am minding my own business last night on Facebook. I have come across a c5 with a very awesome wing ( i want it). i just wanted to know where does one find track kits for our cars. like wider fenders diffusers and wings that bolt to the frame itself. i love T/A cars and want to continue to build mine into a aggressive looking functional track car but still be able to go to those weekend car shows. i plan on a long build for this. but i see a lot of stuff not for our c5s and most of it is custom. PLease post your track cars!!!! i would like to get some more ideas.
APR is the maker of that wing as you can likely read it; they are popular in the time attack stuff. Willing to bet those brackets are custom made CNC pieces.
Tiger racing used to do some widebody c5 stuff ala greenwood and gt2 cars. Most of what you'll see is the L5 flares. Lewis actually makes a full widebody kit including front and rear facias but you don't see them often.

yes i see that the wing is APR. but how can one acquire the brackets for the wing? I've seen the l5 fenders and plan on doing that rear and front. but this is the only wing i like and its functional. i wonder if anyone on here would chime in on a company that makes brackets like this.

The owner of the car is no return racing. As far as i know they arent on cf but i see the car on instagram and the brackets are custom fabbed up aswell as the twin turbo kit.
Been looking and doing my own aero for a couple years now. And almost everything is custom made unless you go black dog, or acp. I ended up making my own splitter and the wing is kognition.
I am a member of SCCA and NCCC I run a track set up which
includes a 67 in wing by ARP. ARP makes brackets for the
racing bodies I mentioned. Decide what racing you will be doing
and research what is legal. The brackets you have shown would
not be legal in many forms of racing. Good luck and have fun.

interesting. do these apr wing brackets connect to the frame? i would like to do black hawk and road america in the future. would like to be able to do autox events and the bigger tracks as well.

do you have any pictures? i wonder what it'll take to make custom fenders or wing brackets? like foam then fiberglass mold them.

SCCA ---a wing on the rear...the hatch or trunk lid must be
able to open entirely. ARP brackets do not connect to the frame.
SCCA wing cannot overhang the rear bumper (you must have a 1in
space from wing to bumper.) You better check before you install
any aero pieces or the tech inspection will refuse to let you run.
Even auto X will reguire a tech inspection.
Also you will need a license to run high speed events. I am not
talking about a drivers license.
My advise----start with the autocross events and work up to
high speed tracks. Even the autocross has high speed auto-X.
Good luck.

I can only quote what I know. My first response noted I am in
NCCC and SCCA only. I doubt the OP is running SCCA but he
still will go thru tech and he better know the rules.
A little late, but been browsing the forum for wider fendors and tripped on this relatively recent thread.
I switched from SCCA T2 to NASA ST2 in 2014 and did a Black Dog facia and splitter and Kognition rear wing.
