External Air Temperature Fixed
My 5000 mile, recently acquired, 2001 Z-06 was showing wildly inaccurate external air temperature readings on the climate control display. After reading Forum threads on the subject, I replaced the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor. I was able to reach it from above. Sure enough, that did the trick. An examination of the old sensor revealed rust on one of the pins so I packed the new connection with vaseline to prevent future issues. I probably could have cleaned the old one up but the new one was inexpensive enough to prompt the replacement. Thanks to those posting previous info on this subject.

Great that it was only a simple repair that you had to do - and yes, the forum has a vast amount of information available for us to use.
