Default I really fly.......

I've had a few CF members ask me if I really fly because of my tags. MeFly has three meanings for me.

1. 550 rwhp.....mefly
2. Private pilot.... mefly a beechcraft bonanza
3. Mefly

Nuff said

Anyone else fly???

Private Pilot (SEL). Flew a Luscombe 8A, and later a Short Bodied Mooney. I sold them and got out of flying. I miss that Luscombe. It was a fun airplane to fly.

If you put wings on the doors of that C5 it would look more sleek than that aircraft sitting next to it.

Used to live next to an airport when I was a kid. I thought those Bonanza's were the private pilot's Corvette of the sky. Nice plane!

Beautiful V-tail. Love it. Of course the Corvette looks pretty good as well. Not current for the moment but have flown a myriad of single engine planes. One of my favorites was an AA-5B, Grumman Tiger.

Private Pilot (SEL) when I was sixteen. Rotary wing later on. Neither licence is current. Going up in a Tiger Moth next month for my 66th birthday.

I've sky dived a few times and loved it. Unfortunately the wife freaked out every time I went. And yeah, no crash landings!!

I've never flown a Luscombe but occasionally will fly a friends Husky. The Husky is a lot of fun.

I did a lot of training in piper colts, its a good solid airplane.

Only on the strip,,,,but flying was always a dream I had. Going to have to at least try one of those introductory deals and get up their and see what it is like. I DID grab the facing out the door seat when we got to do a training flight in NCO school before I was sent to Nam,,,and LOVED leaning out and looking down from the open door!! Now some of the flights over there were a little more scary!!
Also another NICE Bonanza thereI built model of one as a kid,,,they have been around for a while. Just curious,,,do they handle or have a different feel than a traditional tail craft?? 550 RWHP on the ground

Me fixz 'em but notz flyz 'em.

Have been in the left seat once in a 757. Now that was pretty fun. Also took my '77 Trans Am flyin' once. That wasn't so much fun though. And yes, it was a black and gold one just like the Bandits. Have been asked before if the Vette flys since it does have the wings.

You need to get the V-Tail painted to match the Vette. I know a good shop who can do it for you.
