Easy way to replace shift indicator
Need help just ordered the kit to replacement automatic.Is there any easy way to install the kit??? Been driving for years with out it,but fixing everything now so it time for this, if not a total hassle.Help on how to do,or some place in the DFW area to have it done.

Mind sharing where you were able to find a kit to repair the red plastic piece on the shift indicator? All the posts I have read on this indicated that the red plastic piece was not sold as an individual item and you had to buy the entire shifter to fix it unless you could come up with some creative way to do it on your own.
(See the file below - it does not specifically cover replacement of the red indicator, but it does mention it as part of the replacement of the bulb inside the indicator).

They came up on EBay this is a real company not some guy selling.R
