Default Hit a milestone tonite!

200k on my '98. Been my daily driver since New Years Eve of 2002. Never imagined keeping a car around for that long. Driven sun, rain, snow (with snow tires) and occasionally tows trailer for those home improvement projects

Original engine and trans, I've done all work/maintenance myself (except body work, alignment and tire mount/balance). Biggest failure was the slave cylinder crapping out requiring dropping the whole driveline on jackstands while I was at it, opened the trans and replaced some synchros.

We'll see how much longer she lasts

Mobil 1 5W30 of course with AC Delco PF46 filters, changed when the DIC says so. Next oil change I'm going to have a Blackstone analysis done. Otherwise, uses no noticeable oil. Somehow the starter and alternator are still original. Replaced the water pump once. Hope I didn't just jinx myself

Congrats, that's a great achievment.
Question, did you have to replace the ebcm or any other electonic modules or did it make it with all the original electronic equipment?

Nope (knocks wood), no replacement, original ECBM and all other modules. Also a TP sensor is dead but that's cause its battery is depleted. Only weird electrical hiccup I have is if I put the key in with the door closed the passenger mirror always readjusts itself. I'm aware of the memory thing apparently it's a bug somewhere. I've gotten used to inserting the key with the door open to prevent that...

the oil pressure sensor was replaced once, probably 10 years ago with an aftermarket one. I used to get "LOW FUEL" too, but haven't seen that in 10+ years either.

Congrats on hitting 200K miles. Also good to hear that the car has not had a lot of problems in all those miles.
