Moderators should take a stronger stance to police this as well.
the moderators don't police these threads as we expect people to act accordingly....in fact there are no rules governing PIF threads.

It is sad that some try to take advantage of others generosity

My advice is to call those out who aren't following the rules and don't allow them to take things without reciprocating.

This being said, OUTAKTRL i think you have used these forums as your personally picking grounds taking advantage of the generosity of our fellow members not only in this thread but in the buy sell trade forums also.

I sincerely hope you choose to do the right thing by offering up something in return for the at least 4 items you have took from this very thread.

If you do no have anything to provide please consider putting back some of the items you have taken.

Maybe the rule should be you have to give an item to receive one...

Rules:

If you take something you must offer something.

Person offering item covers shipping unless other arrangements are made between the parties involved

Hey okzo6. You should read a pages of this thread before saying I'm taking stuff and not offering anything back to pay it forward. I put up what I have for any member that wants it on the first or second page. Look before you leap !!!!! I've never had any problem or complaint with any of my fellow corvette brothers on this forum. Go have a glass of holiday cheer and relax. And get ur facts checked.

Here are the Facts OUTAKTRL,
You have taken

Drivers Mirror, Antenna, Seat belt covers, Wheel emblems, DRL lenses
Just from this thread and offered 2 lug nuts and a factory air filter in return.

This is not the type of behavior family or as you says "brothers" do to each other.

Your post history is extremely evident of your hand in the cookie jar behavior, including trying to get free items from me in the past.
You still have the opportunity to do the right thing here.

wrong again guy......never took he mirror.....and anyway this thread is not about offering up equal things to pay it forward. Its about people offering what they have to pay it forward. Meaning things you have to offer that others might want or need...im not gonna get into an argument with you so i think its best you drop it........by the way u only offered a pair of screens....this is where im gonna ignore any other posts you type, so i suggest u do the same...

People have and will see you for what you really are.

I have no idea what your speaking of with screens I gave a very gracious and long time member a factory cd player and took nothing from anyone else.

It doesn't appear my last post updated, so I'll just make this simple.

No there is not a rule that you must offer equal pay it forwards for what you take. There should be...but I'll leave that to whomever chooses to start this the next time. However in the holiday spirit (and at the core of a good natured pay it forward spirit to which this is after all), it is better to give than receive. Personally I would free greedy to take more than I offered or to even take more than one item. For me that is where the rub comes in...others don't share in the same kind of kindred spirit and that is a shame especially in a community of like minded "brothers".
