That's crazy. I bought a set exactly a year ago this month in that size and love them. I had Tires Plus order me a pair and install them. You might try that route.
Most of the sizes are selling out and being discountinued until the new/updated compound is released later this winter.
What compound are they switching to? Mine are 200 and not near as sticky as I thought they would be. Still spin like crazy unless very warm. That is typical of an endurance racing slick, so I guess that was what they originally were shooting for.
The BFG website still shows the stock size for the rear of our cars. Part #54078 It's just unfortunate GM put such a strange stock size on the front. I would really like a pair of Rival in stock or even 275 width up front. http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-...ails#techspecs

treadwear doesn't necessarily relate to traction.
tires like the rival and kumho xs behave best around 160deg and get slippery under 60-70
the michelin pss is so far the best 50-100deg tire i have driven working well down into the 40s, at the same time, if you track these and get them hot they start falling off
