I was wondering if this is for real. Has anyone tried these chips and got the 30 more hp?

Ah yes the wonderful iat tricker has reared it's head again. All it does is send a signal to the pcm faking the intake air temp lower than what it really is. This changes the timing and fueling parameters.

I wasn't planning on buying one. A few years ago some guys I worked with got chips for their Ford diesel pickups and took them to the strip. They did pretty good. I was just wondering about chips for Vettes.

there are not chips for c5. the pcm is reprogrammable via a handheld tuner, self tuning with something like hptuners, or have a shop dyno tune it. replaceable chips stopped with the 1992 corvette.

And I opened it, thinking it was a thread about Calif. Highway Patrol Motorcycle Eric Estrada types.
