I bought my grid pedals from CCA. Chip is great to deal with and the pedals are excellent. The only hard part on installation is trying to squeeze into the foot well to attach the mounting hardware. I was almost ready to pull out the seat to make it easier, but I managed to complete the installation with the seat in place. I used a right angle dremmel attachment to drill the mounting holes on the gas and dead pedals. Here's a link to the installation instructions.
I know the upgraded petals will enhance grip for sure. I always drive my performance cars with my racquet ball shoes which have an excellent sole for grip. In my Pantera I use Nomex racing shoes which work well and are very narrow since the pedals are spaced "very" close together.
I have the grid pattern from CCA, this has worked well for me.
Do you find that they "grip" your shoes better? Mostly, I wear sneakers when driving, so it's usually not an issue, but a couple of times, when going out in dress shoes with leather soles, I've had my foot slip on the clutch pedal.....

Yes - Grid or Satin will do the trick - no more slipping
