Ok found this problem today was cleaning inside up and decided to just sit in the passenger seat and run through the controls. All worked until I pulled up on control to raise the front of seat but when I went to lower the front of seat back down I got nothing. Seat will go forward backwards the back of seat will raise then lower back down with no problem just the front of seat wont go back down. All lumbars work. Any help appreciated....
For non Memory it could be the switch, relay, or the motor may have failed. If you can, first check to make sure the connectors are not loose. If you pull the switch or relay center (houses all the relays) you can see if the switch/relay/motor works by testing. If you need the pin outs for this let us know.
If Memory could be the switch, SCM, or motor. Similar diagnostics would apply.
If you have Memory pull your DIC codes and see if anything shows up to indicate the problem. If you don't know how to pull the codes from the dash here is some help:
No codes were displayed in the dic non memory for passenger side. Motor and switch work in the up position but not the down position. And this is the front of bottom seat.
Sorry, was thinking it was the driver side. I should learn to read. If it were me I would pull the seat and look for some kind of binding. At least then you could jumper the motor to see if it works. If it does then you can proceed to look at the relay and switch. I can help you with how to do that if you want to. Here is some info on seat removal and maintenance.

I just did this repair on my driver seat. All went fine, except when I reinstalled it, I now have the same problem you are stating. I can live with it for now until I have time to pull it out again and check it.
