I've been stalking the C5 section for a few weeks now and decided to join up. I'm going to be looking for a 2002 - 2004 Z06 within the next few weeks. In these few short weeks I've found a plethora of information, especially for newbies looking to get into the Vette game. I spent a few hours today reading about common problems and things to look out for. Theres a couple Z06s up this way on cars.com and Craigslist, but if anyone happens to have one for sale feel free to give me a shout (Im in Connecticut).
Some of my criteria:
2002 - 2004 (2004 preferred)
Black, red, or blue exterior
Black interior
Stock or mild modifications
Somewhat lower mileage (less than 50k, 30k or less preferred)
Up to $25k
I've been an Audi guy for the past 10-12 years and am ready for a switch!

I was a BMW guy for about 17 years. It was time for a change for me also, and it was a great change. Got myself a stock black on black 04 C5Z with 44K for 22K CAD in June/July. Lovin it until putting it away recently for winter.
