trunk interior lights...

trunk interior lights...

I have a 02 Z06 and the trunk area lights don't work... the rest of the interior lights work. Any ideas? Before I tear into it I thought id see if you guys know the short cut? is it a hidden connection somewhere?

Give me some credit lol. Yeah, checked the bulbs and fuses.. Odd that the other lights work and not these...

When you do nothing else except pop the trunk, do the under dash courtesy lights come on (doors closed)?

Could be a bad connection or a ground problem. You may have to start removing the plastic trim and the carpeting and trace the wires back to plastic connectors. With both lights not working, it does sound like a wiring issue. It would help to have a digital volt meter to check for voltage at the connections.
