21,000 miles is what I'd consider very low mileage on a 12 year old car.
I'd give it a look. A lot of folks buy corvettes and don't drive them much, Then they later look into the garage and decide they don't need to be paying insurance, storage and license on a car they drive so seldom.
You can never know the entire history of a car or if at one point it was beat. This one looks really good and well taken care of, plus low miles. My '01 had 4 owners, one guy had it only 2 years and put 600 miles on it. The first owner put most of the miles on it. Not many C5s are one owner anymore.
Will the dealer give you any kind of warranty? 90 days or more?
im not sure really, i will definitely ask for some kind of warranty but i doubt they will give that on 13 year old car. i didnt really discuss too much with the sales guy he sounded like a jerk, i offer him 22,000.00 and he was like no, no, no, no , no the car is priced fair for the market. so i feel like i should come in person and maybe talk to the manager.

I thought it was a dealership. Sometimes they give short warranties on their used cars. I see it's a small used car lot. They usually don't. See if you can learn more about it's history and offer him 22K again next week. It's not a good time for selling sports cars.
The price seems reasonable; if nothing else, there are similar Z06's going for about that amount in the C5 For Sale section.
One thing I would suggest is asking if you can get the car to an independent and reputable auto shop to have a Used Vehicle Inspection (UVI) done on the car. For around $125, you should get a written report that outlines the condition of the car and anything that was found to be in need of repairs. Investing that time and money could save you lots of money on possible repairs down the road.
Carfax can report some strange things when it comes to "owner's" If the car went thru an auction or wholesales, it may be reported as a sale from one "owner" to another. Does the report show it being licensed in different state? How mny miles between the "owners"?
Take the VIN to a local Chevy dealership and ask the Service Manager if they can run a Vehicle Service History report. This report will show all work done on the car by a Chevy dealership. It will also show the selling dealer, the date the car was put into service, and what options are on the car.
Checking the service records should confirm mileage.
guys thats going to roll odometers back 95% of the time check records before they buy it so if there is no record no real way of knowing.
i had a friend who bought a 2nd owner car 1st owner only put 20k on it 2nd owners put over 100k on it, he didnt service it at dealers, car was clean looked really well maintained but he found out it didn't have 40k on it from a receipt he found under the seat from an oil change if it wasn't for that you couldn't tell, seller was quick to give up the cash and extra to cover registering and his time.
Wow, nice find. Looks to be 100% original unmolested and well cared for which negates the owner history IMO. If it was hacked up, modded or otherwise "used" buy 6 previous owners I'd shy away from it. This looks like it was just a garage trophy for 6 other guys with good taste Great price too. I'd jump on it!!!

I would not buy a low mileage car without records proving mileage. A low mileage Z06 must have records. If not, it's time to walk.

I agree. If records confirm low mileage I'd keep offering him 22K until he gets sick and tired of you and lets you have it.
Seems kind of hard to believe it's had 6 owners and no one added any mods to the car....nothing? Maybe it was returned to stock at some point. Just something to consider. I really wanted a low owner car when I got mine 3 years ago, got a 1 owner car (older guy/in his 60's) close to bone stock with 36k on it. I just know how some younger guys are with these cars (under 25, no offense) and I didn't want one that a bunch of guys had hammered on. To some it's not a big deal to have 5 or more owners, I just wanted a stock 1 owner car if I could find one.
