Hope you can eventually get this figured out. Really strange that it leaks when the car hasn't been driven for a while.

FWIW my torque converter to pump seal (700R4) would leak only after setting.
Kind of like your symptoms.
An earlier problem was the your first, the TQ would drain down filling the trans an then leaking out any weak gasket it could find.

What did yours require to correct the pump seal issue? If you don't mind sharing cost and procedure. I'd assume there is no way to fix this without dropping the trans?

OP, after looking at your other Thread the seal was what I thought about before I even saw this post.

Please contact RPM for their input. They are EXPERTS and I am sure they have seen everything at once before.

A good answer and most appropriate is found in response #10 on the tech side.

I had a leak that was coming from my Shift Linkage Module on the side of the Vette (drivers) - seal needed to be replaced where it entered the tranny

It would drain down the side and sit on the pan and it took forever to realize where in the world it was coming from but found it! It was only after it had been run and sat for a while allowing the fluid to drain back down and cool down!

Thanks,Matt
